This Sunday
This week we'll look at some lies we may need to UNlearn about ... the Bible.
Like -that it is unreliable. That's just not true.
That it is to understand, or that it is too hard to understand - weirdly, both also not true.
Some people believe lies about what the gospel even IS. There is room for contemplation, discussion - even some disagreement on how the Bible was written; how to interpret parts of it; the differences between inerrancy, infallibility, and inspiration; etc.
But, the bible is God's Word to us. It's our clearest revelation of who God is, who we are, and how we can be with him. It is way too important to take lightly.
This week at Home Church - let's talk about... the Bible!
Celebration of Life
George Boone
This Saturday, May 9th at 1pm, Home Church will host a memorial service for one of our church members, George Boone. If you knew George — or simply want to show your love and support for his wife Shillon — we'd love if you'd come and celebrate his life with us!

Middle School Night

We had so much fun at our last middle school event, we had to run it back!
Bring a friend, an appetite, and be ready for a HUGE game—literally.
You've never played soccer like this before!
Attention: Parents of Graduating 5th Graders!
As your 5th grader gets ready to move up to Middle School, our Student Ministry would love to help make that transition smooth & exciting and for your student to feel confident & connected before "Promo Sunday" (May 24th).
Make plans to join us May 17th after the 11am service for pizza, a tour of the OutHouse, and an opportunity to meet Jorge & our InsideOut Team!

Giving on the Church App
You can give on the church app! From the home page, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you’ll see an image like the one above. Click the image and follow the steps below to set up a one time or recurring donation:
1. Add the amount you would like to donate (then click “next”).
2. Choose which fund you’d like to give to.
3. Select how often - One Time, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
- If you choose to give on a regular basis, you’ll be able to pick the day/dates the recurring donation is made.
4. Add a payment method.
5. You can see the processing fee and choose if you want to cover it or not.
- If you choose to cover the fee, you will be credited on year-end statements.
Important info
If you would would like MORE of your money going toward Home Church and the missions we support, and LESS towards fees - Here’s some info that will help:
When selecting a payment method…
A debit or credit card - it will be $0.30 plus 2.15% of the donation.
However, if you choose to add your bank account, the fee is only $0.30 - regardless of the amount you donate.
