This Sunday
This Sunday is Palm Sunday. The first day of Holy Week - which is arguably the most important week of the year for Christians. Most of us know the story of the "triumphant entry", and the donkey, and the palm branches, and the people shouting Hosanna!
But when we look a little deeper - this story is full of surprises.
Let's celebrate our king - Jesus, this Palm Sunday! - and let's talk about some of these surprises. Then, please try to participate as much as you can in all the Holy Week stuff. Details at homechurchtx.com/easter.

On Monday, we sent out a one-year progress report email. There is a LOT to celebrate in that update, and an opportunity to be a part of what God is doing in and through Home Church - if you're not already!

Holy Week
We want to be super intentional with this week as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday. So starting March 29 we’ll have something each day for Holy Week. Make plans for you and your family to participate each and every day as we get ready to celebrate Easter Sunday!
Monday - Wednesday
Each day we're asking you to take just a few minutes to pray. We'll be posting a short video each day with a daily prayer prompt.
Passover Service
Thursday, April 2 – join us in person for a very brief partial reenactment of a traditional Passover meal – and experience the life changing “flipping of the script” for yourself.
Space is limited – AND CURRENTLY FULL!
If you have registered and you can't make it, please let us know!
Good Friday
Join us, in person or online at 6:30pm, for our Good Friday service as we focus on the sacrifice of Jesus.
Silent Saturday
We often overlook what the disciples felt on that Saturday – because we have the benefit of knowing what came that Sunday, His resurrection. We’ll have a very special in-person Worship service focused on this day and observe how the people closest to Jesus must have felt on this day.
Resurrection Sunday
10am - Ranger Stadium
Plan to invite some people, show up early, celebrate in worship, and hear a Bible-based & hope-filled message!
We'll end the celebration with 15,000 eggs on the field for kiddos 12 and under.

Volunteers Wanted!
We’re looking for the friendliest, most welcoming people to serve in a very special way — to make a football stadium feel like HOME! The more volunteers we have, the easier this goal is to achieve!
Egg Donations Needed!
We need… (say it with us) LOTS & LOTS of eggs!
We plan to have 15,000+ eggs on the field and we need help! You can drop off your egg donations at our Kids Ministry check in area.
Please no chocolate!
Easter Outreach
We have a pretty awesome Outreach Ministry called “Shared Blessings”.
Every Wednesday our team of volunteers passes out groceries, and prays with several families in our community who are struggling financially.
As Easter approaches, we want to do something to further show the love of Jesus to these families by providing a special Easter meal during our April 1st grocery distribution - and YOU can be a part of it! Simply swing by the table in the lobby this Sunday or click the link below to donate towards our Easter Ham Outreach!
We plan to provide meals for 80-100 families and expect to spend about $50 per meal - but any amount you’re able to give is appreciated and will go towards making an impact with this awesome outreach!
Celebration of Life
Lindsey Williams
March 31st, 12pm
We will be gathering to celebrate the life of Lindsey Williams (Steve & Dana Vistine’s daughter) on Tuesday 3/31 at noon at HILLSIDE CHURCH. I really hope you will come to support this sweet family, honor Lindsey’s life, and celebrate the hope we have - that she is now really, fully - with Jesus!
We are expecting a large crowd, so please consider meeting at Home Church, and carpooling across the street to Hillside. ALSO, I need about 10 volunteers to help with parking or just opening the doors and greeting people. You’d need to be there by 10:00. Please let me know if you can help by replying to this email.
30s/40s - Family at the Cross
March 28 | 10am-Noon
Kerrville, Tx
Join us TOMORROW for a meaningful day together in Kerrville at The Cross! We’ll experience a special guided tour led by two chaplains who will walk us through the powerful story and significance of the Cross. It will be a rich time of learning, reflection, and connection.
Children are absolutely welcome—bring the whole family!
Please bring a sack lunch for yourself (or your family).
Water will be provided.
Two wheelchairs will be available on-site if needed.

This Women’s group meets online every other Monday and will be starting a new study soon! If you’ve got a busy schedule and can’t commit to a weekly group — this is a great time and great group to join!

Giving on the Church App
You can give on the church app! From the home page, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you’ll see an image like the one above. Click the image and follow the steps below to set up a one time or recurring donation:
1. Add the amount you would like to donate (then click “next”).
2. Choose which fund you’d like to give to.
3. Select how often - One Time, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
- If you choose to give on a regular basis, you’ll be able to pick the day/dates the recurring donation is made.
4. Add a payment method.
5. You can see the processing fee and choose if you want to cover it or not.
- If you choose to cover the fee, you will be credited on year-end statements.
Important info
If you would would like MORE of your money going toward Home Church and the missions we support, and LESS towards fees - Here’s some info that will help:
When selecting a payment method…
A debit or credit card - it will be $0.30 plus 2.15% of the donation.
However, if you choose to add your bank account, the fee is only $0.30 - regardless of the amount you donate.
