We know that God is forming us into the likeness of Jesus from the inside - out. We'll look at one more way that God uses fasting to form us from the outside - in, through this practice. One of our biggest challenges is to become like Jesus in our compassion & sacrificial, others-first, love. Seeing the challenges and pain of others, and taking those challenges and pain onto ourselves. This week, let's talk about how fasting can help us stand with the poor! **Also as promised:** I'll be giving a transparent update on how things are going with the GROW initiative! --- [![](https://churchusercontent.com/api/image-proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fauth.churchspace.co%2Fstorage%2Fv1%2Fobject%2Fpublic%2Forganization-assets%2F17ca71cf-23db-4bdc-ad50-5b0fb03eea42%2Fpco-imports%2F2026-03-18T22-14-31-524Z-6da2f26d-c236-418a-9d63-1a7d9839db3a.jpg)](https://homechurchtx.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3395039/reservations/new) # **VBS Volunteer Meeting** **This Sunday | 12:30pm in the Sanctuary** All aboard! We’ll have a very special **in-person** Worship service focused on this day and observe how the people closest to Jesus must have felt on this day. ![](https://churchusercontent.com/api/image-proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fauth.churchspace.co%2Fstorage%2Fv1%2Fobject%2Fpublic%2Forganization-assets%2F17ca71cf-23db-4bdc-ad50-5b0fb03eea42%2FEaster_at_Ranger_Stadium_2026-03-18T21-56-02-673Z.png) # Resurrection Sunday ## **10am - Ranger Stadium** Plan to invite some people, show up early, celebrate in worship, and hear a Bible-based & hope-filled message! We'll end the celebration with 15,000 eggs on the field for kiddos 12 and under. V ## Volunteers Wanted! We’re looking for the friendliest, most welcoming people to serve in a very special way — to make a football stadium feel like HOME! The more volunteers we have, the easier this goal is to achieve! [Sign Up to Serve at Easter!](https://homechurchtx.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3501290) ## Egg Donations Needed! We need… (say it with us) LOTS & LOTS of eggs! We plan to have 15,000+ eggs on the field and we need help! You can drop off your egg donations at our Kids Ministry check in area. **Please no chocolate!** ![](https://churchusercontent.com/api/image-proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fauth.churchspace.co%2Fstorage%2Fv1%2Fobject%2Fpublic%2Forganization-assets%2F17ca71cf-23db-4bdc-ad50-5b0fb03eea42%2FEaster_DInner_2026_2026-03-18T23-46-19-495Z.png) # Easter Outreach We have a pretty awesome Outreach Ministry called “Shared Blessings”. Every Wednesday our team of volunteers passes out groceries, and prays with several families in our community who are struggling financially. As Easter approaches, we want to do something to further show the love of Jesus to these families by providing a special Easter meal during our April 1st grocery distribution - and YOU can be a part of it! Simply **swing by the table in the lobby this Sunday** or click the link below to donate towards our Easter Ham Outreach! We plan to provide meals for **80-100 families** and expect to spend **about $50 per meal** - but any amount you’re able to give is appreciated and will go towards making an impact with this awesome outreach!
