This Sunday
How do you know if you’re actually becoming more like Jesus? Most of us have a few ways we measure our spiritual health—but what if we’re not measuring the right things? Jesus gave us a surprisingly simple way to tell whether something is really changing inside us. This Sunday we’ll discover what that is as we begin a new series on the practice of serving. We’ll see how even small, ordinary acts of service can change us, bless others, and give the world a little preview of God’s Kingdom.

October 24 | 5:00pm
Join us for a fun evening for the family! The fun will start at 5:00pm in the South parking lot, followed by food and fellowship in our back yard!

30s & 40s Chili Cook-Off
October 23 | 6pm
Bring your best chili and your favorite cornbread and let’s settle the age-old question: Who makes the BEST chili?!
Come hungry, bring your appetite and get ready for some friendly competition, great food and plenty of laughs! Whether you’re entering the cook-off or just coming to enjoy the food, there’s a place for you.
This is a great opportunity to fellowship with old friends, meet new friends and enjoy some good food and even better company.
May the best chili win!

Annual 50UP Chili Cook-Off
November 6 | 6:30pm
Join us for our 3rd Annual 50+ Chili Cook-Off, a fun-filled event featuring delicious chili, complimentary sides and desserts and plenty of Bingo!
Come out and enjoy a great time with friends, sample a variety of homemade chili entries and cheer on our chili cooks as they compete for the title of Best Chili of the Year.
Our chili entries will be judged, with prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Whether you’re here to compete, enjoy the food, play Bingo, or simply have a good time — there’s something for everyone!

Giving on the Church App
You can give on the church app! From the home page, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you’ll see an image like the one above. Click the image and follow the steps below to set up a one time or recurring donation:
1. Add the amount you would like to donate (then click “next”).
2. Choose which fund you’d like to give to.
3. Select how often - One Time, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
- If you choose to give on a regular basis, you’ll be able to pick the day/dates the recurring donation is made.
4. Add a payment method.
5. You can see the processing fee and choose if you want to cover it or not.
- If you choose to cover the fee, you will be credited on year-end statements.
Important info
If you would would like MORE of your money going toward Home Church and the missions we support, and LESS towards fees - Here’s some info that will help:
When selecting a payment method…
A debit or credit card - it will be $0.30 plus 2.15% of the donation.
However, if you choose to add your bank account, the fee is only $0.30 - regardless of the amount you donate.
