This Sunday
We all want to become more like Jesus—but how does that actually happen? Is spiritual growth something God does in us, or something we have to work at ourselves?
This week we’ll look at why the Bible refuses to make us choose between grace and effort, and how the practices of Jesus help us participate in what only God can do.
If you’ve ever wondered, “Why am I not changing faster?” this one is for you. See you Sunday!
Baptisms
Our next Baptism Sunday will be October 11th! If you're ready to take this next step in your faith, or if you have questions about baptisms, please contact Dahlia and she'll be happy to get connected with one of our pastors!
Trunk-or-Treat
October 24 | 5:00pm
Join us for a fun evening for the family! The fun will start at 5:00pm in the South parking lot, followed by food and fellowship in our back yard!
Sign up to host a trunk!
If you'd like to host a trunk, please sign up before October 18th.
30s & 40s Chili Cook-Off
October 23 | 6pm
Bring your best chili and your favorite cornbread and let’s settle the age-old question: Who makes the BEST chili?!
Come hungry, bring your appetite and get ready for some friendly competition, great food and plenty of laughs! Whether you’re entering the cook-off or just coming to enjoy the food, there’s a place for you.
This is a great opportunity to fellowship with old friends, meet new friends and enjoy some good food and even better company.
May the best chili win!
