You are becoming someone. The question is: who?
Everything around us is shaping us, but Jesus invites us to intentionally place our lives under his influence. This Sunday we’ll talk about what it means to move from simply being with Jesus to actually becoming like Jesus—and why one of the best & bravest prayers we can pray is, “Father, your will be done…in me.”
Church Picnic
September 27 | After 2nd Service
Wear your favorite football jersey to church this Sunday and "kickoff" the fall season with us! Join us immediately following the 11am service for pizza and fun in the back yard! We'll have a football area for the kiddos and maybe even a little competitive corn hole game!
The food is free, so bring someone with you!

Celebration of Life
Clay Hake
This Saturday, September 26 at 11am, Home Church will host a memorial service for one of our church members, Clay Hake. If you knew Clay —or simply want to show your love and support for his wife Annette— we'd love if you'd come and celebrate his life with us!
30s & 40s Faith Supper Potluck
September 25 | 6pm
Come join us TOMORROW for a fun and welcoming evening of food, fellowship, and new friendships! Bring your favorite dish or dessert to share and enjoy a relaxed time connecting with others in our church community.
Whether you’re new to the church, looking to meet new people or simply want to enjoy a great meal with friends, we’d love to have you there!

Uncomplicate It
Sundays at 11am — Starting This Sunday

What if the way God created you—your personality, learning style, background, and season of life—wasn’t something to overcome, but an invitation to experience Him more deeply?
In this group, we’ll read and discuss Uncomplicate It by Hosanna Wong as we discover how to move beyond comparison, unrealistic expectations, and the pressure to make our relationship with God look like someone else’s.
Together, we’ll explore how to simplify our faith, overcome the things that keep us from enjoying God, and discover practical ways to connect with Him in the unique way He created each of us to!
Holy Tutors Study Hall
Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm — Starting September 29
Holy Tutors is a positive, encouraging, Christ-centered environment where students can gather in community to work on schoolwork, support one another through academic challenges, and share their individual strengths and gifts with others.
Students are encouraged to bring their weekly homework or test study guides to work alongside friends and get help when they need it. Whether they’re tackling tough math problems, reading through a chapter, or finishing a project, our caring tutors are here to support, encourage, and cheer them on.
A Helping Hand
One of our church members —who lives near Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels— is looking for a little help getting to church. Because of a visual disability, he isn’t able to drive himself. If you think you might be able to help, please let Dahlia know.
You don’t have to commit every week—even an occasional ride would be appreciated!

Giving on the Church App
You can give on the church app! From the home page, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you’ll see an image like the one above. Click the image and follow the steps below to set up a one time or recurring donation:
1. Add the amount you would like to donate (then click “next”).
2. Choose which fund you’d like to give to.
3. Select how often - One Time, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
- If you choose to give on a regular basis, you’ll be able to pick the day/dates the recurring donation is made.
4. Add a payment method.
5. You can see the processing fee and choose if you want to cover it or not.
- If you choose to cover the fee, you will be credited on year-end statements.
Important info
If you would would like MORE of your money going toward Home Church and the missions we support, and LESS towards fees - Here’s some info that will help:
When selecting a payment method…
A debit or credit card - it will be $0.30 plus 2.15% of the donation.
However, if you choose to add your bank account, the fee is only $0.30 - regardless of the amount you donate.
