This week we are starting a new sermon series about one of our core values at Home Church - Intentional spiritual formation. We believe that being a Jesus follower means much more than believing he exists (even the demons believe). It’s more than going to church more, and cussing less.
If you want to really follow Jesus (maybe you’re not sure exactly what that looks like) - maybe it’s time for a fresh start. Maybe it begins with asking a hard question “who are you becoming?” Let’s ask it together, this week at Home Church.

There will be a celebration of life service this Saturday for Linda Krebs (Katsy Joiner's mom) at the Eden Hill Communities Center in New Braunfels. We just wanted our church family to be aware so we can surround Katsy, Brett, and their family with prayer, love, and support.
Side by Side
2nd & 4th Thursdays - Starting September 10
This group is a Christ-centered support group to encourage those caring for neurodivergent older teens and young adults.
We want to walk beside one another through the joys, challenges, uncertainties and transitions of this season of life-sharing wisdom, offering encouragement, praying for one another, and reminding each other that we aren't meant to walk this journey alone.
Craving Connections
Every Other Tuesday - Starting September 15
Looking for meaningful connections with others who share your life stage and interests? Our small group is for active, DIY-minded adults—whether you’re married without kids or an empty nester.
Together, we’ll explore a variety of topics through the lens of God’s Word, using RightNow Media. Hosted in a welcoming home with two small dogs, we offer a space for laughter, learning, and lasting friendships!

Going from We to Me
Community for Widows
1st & 3rd Thursdays - Starting September 17
Losing a spouse changes so much about everyday life. Going from We to Me is a new Group for widows who want friendship, encouragement, and community with women who understand this season.
This isn’t a grief-support group or a class with a set curriculum. It’s simply a place to do life together— to build new friendships, share life, laugh, have fun, encourage one another, and talk honestly.
If you’re looking for a place to belong as you navigate this new chapter, we’d love for you to join us.

Come join us for a fun and welcoming evening of food, fellowship, and new friendships! Bring your favorite dish or dessert to share and enjoy a relaxed time connecting with others in our church community.
Whether you’re new to the church, looking to meet new people or simply want to enjoy a great meal with friends, we’d love to have you there!

Uncomplicate It
Sundays at 11am — Starting September 27
What if the way God created you—your personality, learning style, background, and season of life—wasn’t something to overcome, but an invitation to experience Him more deeply?
In this group, we’ll read and discuss Uncomplicate It by Hosanna Wong as we discover how to move beyond comparison, unrealistic expectations, and the pressure to make our relationship with God look like someone else’s.
Together, we’ll explore how to simplify our faith, overcome the things that keep us from enjoying God, and discover practical ways to connect with Him in the unique way He created each of us to!
Holy Tutors Study Hall
Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30pm — Starting September 29
Holy Tutors is a positive, encouraging, Christ-centered environment where students can gather in community to work on schoolwork, support one another through academic challenges, and share their individual strengths and gifts with others.
Students are encouraged to bring their weekly homework or test study guides to work alongside friends and get help when they need it. Whether they’re tackling tough math problems, reading through a chapter, or finishing a project, our caring tutors are here to support, encourage, and cheer them on.

Giving on the Church App
You can give on the church app! From the home page, simply scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where you’ll see an image like the one above. Click the image and follow the steps below to set up a one time or recurring donation:
1. Add the amount you would like to donate (then click “next”).
2. Choose which fund you’d like to give to.
3. Select how often - One Time, Weekly, Monthly, etc.
- If you choose to give on a regular basis, you’ll be able to pick the day/dates the recurring donation is made.
4. Add a payment method.
5. You can see the processing fee and choose if you want to cover it or not.
- If you choose to cover the fee, you will be credited on year-end statements.
Important info
If you would would like MORE of your money going toward Home Church and the missions we support, and LESS towards fees - Here’s some info that will help:
When selecting a payment method…
A debit or credit card - it will be $0.30 plus 2.15% of the donation.
However, if you choose to add your bank account, the fee is only $0.30 - regardless of the amount you donate.
