This Sunday

This week we will begin a sermon series that, for many of us, is going to be a real journey to freedom. Freedom from old wrongs done to us, from pain we carry with us, from old scars that just won't seem to heal. It's the journey of FORGIVENESS. In this life - pain is inevitable. People WILL hurt us. How can forgiveness take away their power to continue hurting us, and lead us to healing and freedom? The first step in this journey is very hard. We may feel like we don't WANT to forgive - or don't know how. So, let's go slow. This week, let's just start with talking about What Forgiveness IS, to help us decide if maybe this is a journey we need to take. Maybe forgiveness is not what we typically think of. Maybe it is possible. Maybe it is the first step on your journey to freedom!

VBS

VBS is right around the corner!

If your child is registered for VBS, you may pick up their packets anytime the church is open! There's a lot of important information in there, so please read through everything!

VBS Needs

Hospitality Snacks

We have over 160 volunteers serving at VBS this year! If you weren’t able to serve but want to contribute in a different way - you can donate snacks for these volunteers!

Snack ideas: Cookies, brownies, protein bars, pigs in a blanket, cut up fruit, chips (individual serving) and drinks/mini water bottles. Homemade or store bought!

If you’re able to donate any snacks or treats, please contact Billie Gill to see what day and time would be the best for you to bring them by!

Serving Opportunity

We're looking for a few more friendly faces that can help out with one of everyone's favorite things about Sunday mornings... DONUTS!
If you like serving & smiling and would be willing to get to church a little early — reach out to Michaella to get involved!

Baptisms at Home Church

Our next Baptism Sunday will be THIS SUNDAY, June 21st! If you would like to be baptized or if you would just like some more information about baptism and what it means, please call or email Dahlia and we will get you scheduled to meet with one of our Pastors!

Moedim

New Group Starting June 21st

The purpose of the Moedim group is to encourage the believer in Christ to learn more about the Seven Feasts of the Lord (Leviticus 23) and their significance as they reveal God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. These feasts are times appointed by God where His people connect with Him in worship.
During the first class, starting on Sunday June 21, we will begin with an overview of the Spring Feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost) and will be given with a quick presentation of the Passover Seder table.

Grief Share

Monday Evenings & Thursday Afternoons

Starting June 22nd & 25th

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
